Bellacino’s Pizza & Grinders Italian Restaurant Dearborn Michigan When I was reading about Bellacino’s Pizza and Grinders, the name really taught me about the beauty of a grinder as a food. During World War I, when people were working in the shipyards, grinding off rivets from large steel ships, Italian mom-and-pop bakeries and shops invented a food called grinders after the men who were doing the hard, laborious work of grinding those rivets. They wanted a meaty Hardy meal to stay strong, and that is exactly what got whenever I had one of these grinders at Bellacino’s Pizza and Grinders. The grinder was absolutely delicious; this isn’t just your regular store-bought bread; it is baked fresh every day. The halal turkey cold cuts slices were excellent too, juicy, not dry, and packed full of fresh flavor. The cheese was stringy and delicious, and the lettuce was crunchy and complemented the sandwich so well. All in all, super great service. loved the kindness of the staff and their generosity towards me as a customer. I love the lively energy of everyone eating in, and the decor was old school and beautiful! Much credit and gratitude to the owners for this fine establishment. #italia

I had Chicken Bacon Ranch grinder with fries and a crush drink and it was delicious. Bellacinos has always been delicious to me since I was a child and they have not disappointed me thank you.

Quick service by polite, professional people. Open seating area with lots of space. 2-, 4-, and 6-top tables, all low so wheelchairs won't have issues. Some places needed a light sweeping up. Do wish the music was at a much lower volume. Not a particular fan of 80s/90s pop music, it's OK but better in the background where we don't have to talk over it. Freshly made orders so there is a wait of a few minutes. But it's worth it. Yummy stuff. They also have ice cream, at least seasonally.

Doesn’t even deserve one star. Ordered one half and one full sandwich with fries, only to receive two halves. After calling to inform them of their mistake, they told us they would make the other half “free of charge.” Well, I would hope so—I already paid for it. We requested another side of fries for the inconvenience, considering ours would be cold by the time we went back to get the sandwich we originally ordered. However, they said they couldn’t accommodate that. We brought the food back so they could see for themselves, and the craziest offer was made—to put the fries we had already taken home back in the oven. If you want the possibility of a foodborne illness, I highly recommend this place in Dearborn. Just a recap, forgetful, incompetent, rude, burnt food, improper food safety practices 0/10 Will be filing a food safety complaint to the city

In from Buffalo last weekend and stopped for our first grinder. So Delicious, toasty and piled high. Definitely a fan, and the pizza was good too. The young man behind the counter Saturday was incredible, great attitude and service. Thank you!!!!!
